The readings for this week the authors were using technology in ways that allows students to practice their writing skills as well as get feedback. the arguments were technology based this allowed students to work on skills and help developed peers around them like with writing and communication with classmates or a team. when looking at both they both heightened performance and the collaboration and effort overall. when they gave them choice to write for someone besides the teacher it allowed them too to put forth more effort with out the strict judgement of a professor, Some of the "practical advice" that Braff gives at the end of chapter 2 that really sticks with me is number 6 as well as number 8. The reason these stick with me is because we talked in class about these exact topics or “advice”. These 2 advices go well together in the fact that in my class I had Nancy Hayes as my instructor for fundamentals of education, she didn't mind technology within the classroom, but she really didn't like when you were just on your phone to mess around so she came up with the idea to incorporate more technological curriculum ideas such as a kahoot or online surveys that help the entire class to see how they are feeling about this week's assignments or projects. With these technological curriculum ideas, we had many projects that we did online in groups, whole class and individual. I would say that it was very helpful as a learner to use these different technology based project the main thing that was difficult for me to understand was that all we did was online projects nothing that was in class collaboration with other classmates. I would say that the biggest advice I would give would be more student lead teaching and learning with the classroom due to that fact that it works all the vital skills on how to be a successful within the classroom. I would say that the thing that I like the most about these two readings was that how it really engaged students with the materials it helps them build good characteristics and skills needed in life. When coaching my athletes in the future I will definitely be using some of these technology based activities and skills to help further my athletes in the road to be successful. A lot of what was said in these two different readings made sense to me and nothing really doesn't agree with me or doesn't make sense.

twitter response
Blog Post: Twitter Reflection: highlight three new follows: why did you choose to follow? What are one or two insights you've gained from following these Tweeters? What was the easiest Twitter Challenge? What was the most challenging? What's one element of Twitter you know and want to share OR what's something you want to learn about or through Twitter? HINT: get on Twitter early this week so you have some context for your blog reflection. This isn't an assignment you can do completely on Sunday night.
The first person I followed was Elon Musk because he's always been an inspiration to me due to the fact that he is accomplished so much and so much more than anybody else. the last two people I followed were friends from my class and the reason I follow them is because they were friends in my class obviously but for also great friends and great resources to help me when help was needed. I would say the easiest challenge on Twitter was the first one because all I had to do is make a profile. the most challenging one I would have to say would be following my colleagues due to the fact that I didn't know at first which usernames and what profile names they went by I don't use Twitter often. Something I learned from Twitter was that it connects to people that are like you and offers you to follow them as well as I linked my accounts so that it showed people that I have a new account, so I got many followers on that which I thought that was pretty neat. Overall, I think Twitter is a great tool, but I think some things can be changed in the process of making it easier to set up an account for example.

Nolan's life in tech 1
Share your thoughts on technology + your life: I have a very hard time talking about technology. it is very useful and a great resource but in today's society taking some ones phone away is life in death. i grew up very old fashion i had to pay from my own phone and that wasn't until freshman year of high school i got an iPhone 6. i only sick to apple just because its what my family has always bought and used but recently ive purchased an HP computer. i would say a routine of mine would be that i plug my pnone in before bed and set an alrm for the moring as well as plug in my computer. I would say that technology has a big part in my education it is good and a better source for school. i would say that we should keep using tech in class rooms but i feel like there needs to be a ditinct line that is tech time and old fashion learning paper and pen.
